Red River Gorge Vortex

The Red River Gorge is a canyon on the Red River in Kentucky. The Gorge is located inside the Daniel Boone National Forest and is an size of around 29,000 acres. It has been designated a National Natural Landmark.

This intricate canyon system contains sandstone cliffs, rock shelters, waterfalls, and natural bridges. There are over 100 natural sandstone arches in the Red River Gorge. The area has become one of the world’s top rock-climbing destinations. – Wikipedia
